The Alpinist is a hotel situated in the cold desert of Western Himalayas- Kaza in Spiti valley. Kaza, a small mountain town, is one of the least populated regions of India. At the elevation of 12500 feet (3800m ) above sea level Kaza is the sub divisional head (capital) of Spiti Valley. The hotel is located in the main market of Kaza which is walking distance from the bus stand.

The Alpinist is surrounded by breathtaking sceneries from every side.

The View from The Property

The perks of being at a high mountain area are that you get a different view at every step you take!! The view changes even with the play of clouds in the sky! As far as the view from the hotel is concerned, it varies from snow covered high mountain ridges standing tall underneath the bright blue sky to deep gorges of serpentine Spiti river which flows ferociously with blue water coming directly from the glaciers, the grasslands in the close proximity where hundreds of livestock of goats and sheep could be found grazing, the fields where locals grow cereals and vegetables which turn the lands of KAZA from white in winters to lush green in summer season and of course the traditional houses of the town displaying the colorful culture of the mountain tribes.

The Structure
